“(…) In any place where there wasn’t Self-Sacrifice – as was the case throughout history, like during the era of Imam Husein [A] where the majority of the categorical elite, the upper class, and the believers shrugged their shoulders, became terrified, and retreated – The Word of Falsehood Prevailed; the government of Yazeed came to power, Bani Umayyah ruled for 90 years, [and] Bani Abbas ruled for 5 to 6 centuries. What calamities the people had to suffer, the Islamic society had to suffer, [and] the Mo’mineen had to suffer, [all] because this self-sacrifice wasn’t done. (…)”
