Our civilian aircraft [Iran Air Flight 655] was shot down in the skies of the Persian Gulf by an American officer with a missile from the Navy vessel [the USS Vincennes]. Around 300 passengers were killed. And then, instead of this officer being reprimanded, America’s President at that time congratulated and gave the officer a medal. Can our Nation forget these things? (…)”
